Ceramic Coatings

Simple answer is absolutely not, there are many variations of vehicle, marine and aviation coatings available which may seem cheap but there’s a reason for that, they are substandard and will cost you more money in the long run, make sure you look at the guaranteed life of the product, the most common thing to be fooled on is “Up to 3 years” this can mean it only lasts 2 years, make sure the life is “at least”.

While vehicle ceramic coatings can be used on boats and planes, they won’t last long, weather its due to being lying in water for long durations or the hostile environments of the sky.

Waxes and sealants do not even come close to a ceramic coating, this may lead to repeat buying of waxes, even high quality expensive waxes don’t outlast well prepared and correctly applied ceramic coating. However, a ceramic coating can stay effective for 1,  3 or 5 years depending on the coating and its application.

Regardless of what you do for a living, regardless how often you clean your car or apply wax or polish, ceramic coating is a totally different ball game, improper application can leave streaks, high spots and hazing, So, you'd better know what you're doing, because once the coating has set, it cements over your paint for the next couple of years and is very difficult to remove. 

A ceramic coating is nothing like the old style paint sealants.
